Agreement to Acquire Company Now Finalized.

MINNEAPOLIS – (January 8, 2018) – Katun Corporation (“Katun”), announced today that the company has been acquired by General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. (“GPI”), of Taiwan. Founded in 1979, Katun is one of the world’s leading alternative suppliers of imaging supplies, photoreceptors and parts to the imaging industry.

“Our management team and employees are excited to become part of the GPI organization,” says Robert Moore, President and CEO of Katun. “We are looking forward to exploring the many opportunities and synergies that this new union presents.”

Moore will remain as President and CEO of Katun. Katun’s management team will also remain in place and work closely with the GPI team to leverage organizational strengths to the benefit of customers.
