Katun Responds To Canon’s European Patent Lawsuit

MINNEAPOLIS – (July 15, 2024) – Recently, Canon filed a complaint against Katun and GPI with the Local Division Düsseldorf of the Unified Patent Court asserting potential patent infringement of Canon’s European Patent 3 686 683 B1 (“EP’683”).

“Katun is confident the products it is selling and distributing for use in Canon applications are non-infringing and will work diligently to reach resolution on the issue with Canon,” said William McIntyre, General Counsel for Katun Corporation.
