Katun Corporation Receives Web Development Redesign Award
Website update includes new navigation, fresh look and new features
Minneapolis, MN – (October, 2012) Katun Corporation, one of the world’s leading alternative suppliers to the office equipment industry, has received a 2012 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development (under the category of Website Redesign: Best Other Website) by the Web Marketing Association. This new website design, www.katun.com, includes a contemporary feel, intuitive navigation and several new features created to enhance the user’s online experience.
Since the launch of the new design, geographic-specific versions of the site have also been implemented, enabling Katun to provide regional content for their North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific customers. As part of this implementation, additional languages have been added, and the site is now available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The website design incorporates more interactive features, including main page animations and videos. The redesigned news section and “What’s New at Katun” banner on the home page direct visitors to the latest news, products, programs and other developments of interest at the company and within the industry. Another key addition to the new website includes a reorganized resources section with easier-to-find catalogs, reference guides and instructions. These resources enable technicians, service managers and others to quickly and easily find information that will help make their jobs easier.
Since 1997, the Web Marketing Association’s annual WebAward Competition has been setting the standard of excellence for Website development. Independent expert judges from around the world review sites in 96 industries. The WebAward Competition is the premier award recognition program for Web developers and marketers worldwide.
