Market Research Manager

The Market Research Manager will be responsible for directing all market research activities for the company, ensuring timely completion of projects with accurate and valid results. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, an understanding of marketing strategies and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Planning and Execution
    Collaborate with various departments to develop a thorough market research plan, ensuring consistency in methodology and the validity of findings. Drive research activities to gather valuable customer feedback, keeping Katun informed about customer requirements related to programs, products, and sales support.
  • Budget and Stakeholder Engagement
    Create and manage the market research budget within company profit guidelines, prioritizing research needs to gather critical information promptly. Actively share findings with relevant stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and maintain consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Forecasting and Strategic Objectives
    Maintain the new model database forecasting model to assist product marketing in resource allocation for new product development. Recommend and implement strategic and financial objectives for the department while fostering employee motivation and achievement aligned with Katun’s mission.
  • Talent Development and Quality Management
    Facilitate employee selection, placement, and development to ensure a motivated and productive workforce. Implement and monitor quality initiatives, policies, and processes, striving to meet quality and profitability goals.
  • Project Management and Customer Service
    Perform additional projects and activities to deliver consistent internal and external customer service, ensuring the organization meets its objectives effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in market research or related roles in the copier and imaging equipment industry or related technology sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments and with external partners.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools.

Work Schedule and Physical Requirements*:

  • This is a full-time position with a work schedule of approximately 40 hours per week. Specific schedule can be negotiated upon hire.
  • The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 10 pounds.
