About Katun

Katun was founded in 1979 by T. Michael Clarke and David G. Jorgensen. ​The company started with a workforce of 15, a few offices, a small warehouse ​and a limited offering of parts for office imaging equipment. For over four and a half decades, Katun has been committed to their customers, consistently providing industry-leading quality, ​service, and value. Among the customers they served in 1979, 13 independent office equipment dealers remain loyal ​customers.

In 2018, Katun was acquired by General Plastic Industrial Co. (GPI), a world-renowned manufacturer with a legacy of providing high-quality imaging products. Today, Katun is one of the world’s ​leading providers of ​high-quality OEM-alternative imaging supplies and parts for copiers, printers and multifunctional printers (MFPs).

In 2024, Katun is applying their wealth of experience and expertise to launch their first-ever OEM offering, the Arivia line of MFPs. Katun believes in “Success Made Simple,” and is constantly innovating to support their clients’ evolving needs and to help their businesses succeed.
